How to use templates

Many syndicates will choose to play the same numbers each week. In this case you will probably want to save a selection of lines as a template.

A template will typically consist of the lines, the days of the week to play, and the number of weeks to play. Right clicking on a game that can create gambles will allow you to construct these details, much as you do when you create a gamble. You merely have to save the template for later use.

You may also save the details of a gamble you are creating as a template, just see the save as template button in the form.

Finally you can save the details of an existing gamble as a template. You use the "Create Template From..." menu item for the gamble.

Ideal when you want to play the same lines again.

Making use of templates

When you create a new gamble, you can use an existing template in one of two ways.

Two ways to use template in a new gamble

Firstly you can open a template. This option will clear any lines you have in the form and replace them with those in the template.

Secondly you can add the lines of a template to the lines you currently have in the form. You may want to do this if you want to play the normal weekly lines, and have others that are played with previous weeks winnings. (You can also of course simply create another gamble that takes care of this extra lines played. For a Multi week gamble that wins on one week, but is still running, you can collect on that win and create a single one draw gamble. LSMC is very flexible on how you choose to do things.)

The last button in those highlighted above allows you to save the lines in the form as a new template. A template needs days and a number of weeks to play to be a valid template, so remains disabled until you have valid values in the form.
