Thunderball game updated for bug corrections
There are a couple of bugs in the original Thunderball2 game that can occur with certain day/date combinations, and the update for the game is available.
If you are having issues with your syndicate file because of these bugs (you can repeatedly collect on the same win without clearing the draw dates), please do contact us.

Thunderball game ready and LSMC given minor update.
It is surprising how much code needed re-writing for the change in the Thunderball game! Most of the added complexity comes from the extra play day (Friday). You may not care, but hopefully it will explain the delay in releasing the new game.
Since the draw has changed (the main pool of balls is now 39 and not 34), we treat this as a new game. So we know this game as Thunderball 2. The draw history starts from Wednesday 12th May for this new game. The draw numbers are numbered from 965 onwards to match the draw numbers that Camelot use, and continue from the original game.
You may now want to remove the original game from the list of games in the manager. To do this, ensure you have no gambles that use the game that are unresolved. Then you may select the game, and use the "Game|Remove" menu item.
Whilst updating the game we noticed some issues experienced whilst using Vista and Windows 7, so have altered parts of LSMC and the other plugin games. Therefore to update, download and install the full download.

Thunderball game is to change
As of Wednesday the 12th of May 2010, the Thunderball game is changing. These changes are significant and render the current game in the manager obsolete. Until the updated game is ready you will need to stop playing Thunderball. Changes include the days of the week that will be played, the number of main balls you choose from, a new prize structure, and of course a new top prize of £500,000. These changes in the game are reflected in a new style of playslip that we will update the game to print on.
All efforts will be made to get the updated game ready as soon as possible, and we thank you for your patience in the mean time.

Another change in the Euro Millions game
This time we have updated the Euro Millions game in the application. The main change is to print on the newer five gameboard playslip. In making this change we have removed the original style of playslip. You now choose between the more recent four or five gameboard styles.
An unusual thing to note about the newest playslip design, is that the boards are upside down for printing purposes, so the calibration image is as well to match. This may look a little odd, but it is as it should be.
We have also made £2 as the default ticket price. You will still have the option of changing this value in the game modify options should it change again.

Change in the Euro Millions game
From the 7th of November onwards, purchases of a Euro Millions game ticket now costs £2 in the UK. The extra 50p goes towards a new £1m prize for a single lucky winner/syndicate. To alter the entry price of the game you can either select the game and use the Game|Modify menu item, or right click the game and select the Modify option on the drop down menu. At this time there are no plans to alter the game, as to do so would increase the workload on the manager, and would confuse the game for our European users. If you are lucky enough to win the raffle prize you can use LSMC to equally divide the prize money by using the Syndicate|Credit Add... menu item.

New "How tos"
To help new users get to grips with some of the capabilities of LSMC, and know how to perform the required tasks of managing a syndicate, we have prepared some 'how to' pages to guide you. Follow these guides and you should be well on your way to understanding how the manager organizes your syndicate data.

Site freshen up
The site has been a bit neglected, so thought I'd give it a slight makeover. No major changes, but the links to the shareware sites have been removed. There are hundreds of these sites now, and they all contain the same content (as written by us!) Unless a user has left a review we doubt the majority of the sites have ever run the installer. The only sites that differ for your and our benefit are those that scan for viruses, trojans, adware and spyware. (We pass these tests of course!)
That's not to say we don't benefit from all of the links, but constant requests for us to link to their sites does get a bit old.

Euro and Thunderball updates
Both of these games have had a minor bug corrected. The bug is non critical. Normal use of the manager will never encounter the bug, which is why it has gone undiscovered for so long!

Lotto Game Update
A minor but significant update. The game now prints out onto the updated style of playslips. The gameboards have moved, and the 'Dream Number' entry is on the top of the latest slips. Update if you wish to use these slips.

Installer update.
Each of the games (except the cash game) had a bug relating to file access. This has now been corrected. To update the new games, download the updated installer. Apologies for any inconvenience.

LSMC 3.0 released.
Version 3.0 of the manager along with version 3.0 of the Lotto game, version 2.0 of the Thunderball game, version 2.0 of the Euro millions game, and finally version 1.1 of the Cash game.
This new release is mostly about using more suitable folders in windows. This removes some issues users may have if they attempt to use LSMC with a limited user account, but it also keeps a user's syndicate files private from other users on a PC. This seperation also applies to template files and reports etc. (Exactly how LSMC locates it's files will depend on the particular version of Windows you are using.)
The games' history files are still shared with all users on a system, however they now may be moved to different folder (OS dependant). This folder can be difficult to navigate to, so there is a menu item under the game menu that will open this folder for you.
Once again, users of LSMC will be pleased to note that this is a no cost upgrade. Since the manager and all available games have been updated, go to the download page and get the full installer.

Lotto game ready.
Game is now at version 2.0. This is a little odd since largely it was about removing features rather than adding them! The game retains the ability to open templates created by version 1.x versions of the game, but will not cope with syndicate gambles that still have Lotto Extra gambles to resolve. An up to date syndicate will not have these anyway, so make sure you are up to date before you update the game.

Updating Lotto Game.
Now that Lotto Extra has been killed off, the Lotto game plugin no longer needs to display it. Unfortunately, because the games were so closely connected, there is a lot of code to go over to fully remove it. So it may take a little while, but it will happen. In the mean time, the existing plugin will work just fine, so there's no panic anyway <g>

Update to the Euro game.
The introduction of new style playslips makes the calibration of the Euro game's printing a bit of a pain. So this update allows you to choose the style of playslip that you have to speed up the process.

Update to the manager.
It's been a bit long coming but LSMC is finally on version 2. Other projects have meant that LSMC went a little unloved, but it was never forgotten! We've added an Undo/Redo feature, which could be regarded as a big omission from version 1. It's here now though, and we hope you find it useful.
The second major addition is the inclusion of financial data in the syndicate history. This information will only be available from the first use of version 2 (version 1 didn't record any financial info). To make sure that data is available for the periods you want, you should set the correct values in your manager's options. Financial information is now included in the syndicate reports.
A number of other minor changes have been made to the manager that we hope you'll enjoy.
Whilst updating the manager, we discovered a bug in the Lotto game. The bug can create incorrect information in the 'win history' information. This bug is not critical, but the update can be found on the Lotto game page.
Here's the best bit, the update is free to version 1 users. <G>

Euro Millions game released.
Now use LSMC to play the new Euro Millions game. We could have released the game earlier, but we've been testing testing testing! The game is the first to allow you to modify it. This was necessary because of the possible changes in ticket prices, but as a bonus you can also change the expected draw time.
The Euro Millions lottery game does not seem to be as good value to players as the UK games, but with the expected rollover draws, large jackpots are likely to attract everyone's attention!
We also note that the prize scheme is more demanding on syndicate managers. The odds of winning the smaller prizes is fairly high, so you'll be collecting more wins and having to share those winnings out more often. Imagine the effort you're saving yourself by using LSMC <g>.

Manager and Games Updated.
With what seems like inspired timing we're releasing updates to all of the major parts of LSMC. So the manager, 'Lotto & Lotto extra' game, and the Thunderball game have all been improved. The changes correct some minor report code generation errors in the manager, as well as adding extra email features. The Thunderball also receives some overdue features to bring it into line with the Lotto game. Please note that the updates feature requests made by LSMC users!
This should now leave us free to work on the new Euro Millions game, which thanks to the architecture of LSMC will simply plug in, and will not cost you any extra.

Euro Millions game on it's way
Announcements have been made about the new Euro-Millions game. This is a game that we will certainly wish to support due to the large prizes (we don't support the daily play or hot-picks games because they are of no real interest to syndicates). We are unable to say when a plugin will be available, but it will be the focus of our attention, and we will attempt to support the game as early as possible.

UK Lotto and Lotto Extra game updated, Now v1.1
This game has now received its first significant improvement that could well improve your syndicate's winnings! The new features are a combination of requested features and features that didn't make it into the first release. This is a recommended update. The update requires that you are using version 1.1 or later of the main manager to use these new features. For more details on the new features of the UK Lotto game, and how to apply the update, go to the UK Lotto game page.
