Thunderball 2 game updates.

This page is for updates to the Thunderball game only. If you require a full installation of LSMC (with the latest versions of all of the games and manager) you should go to the download page.

To check the version of the Thunderball 2 game you are currently using, you can either right click on the game in the main LSMC window and select the about option from the pop-up menu, or you can select the Help|About menu item in the main window. You only need to note the first two numbers in the game's version number.

UK TBall Game v2.1
Version 1.1 (13th June 2010).

This is an important update as it corrects a couple of bugs that can give you problems if you create and purchase Thunderball gambles with particular day/date combinations.

How to install

Download the installer and run it whilst LSMC is not running.

Version 1.0 (28th May 2010).

This was the first version of this plugin for the new updated version of the Thunderball game.

The Thunderball game changed on Wednesday 12th May 2010. The changes effectively make this a new game from Camelot, but it retains the Thunderball name, and is very similar in it's rules. The main change is the new top prize rising from £250,000 to £500,000. For this to be practicable, the game changes so the odds of the top prize are greater, and this is achieved by having a first pool of balls rising from 34 to 39. Another change to the prize values sees the extra prize tier for matching the Thunderball without matching any of the main pool of numbers. This win will net you £3.

The other significant change is the addition of another play day. You can now play on Fridays as well as the normal Wednesdays and Saturdays.

As the game is essentially a new one, we treat the history of the game to have started from Wednesday 12th May. Camelot are treating the history as a continuation of the original. The draw numbers therefore start from draw 965 in the new game.

Camelot now seem to want to orient their playslips a different way. So now when you calibrate your printing for this game, you will notice that the orientation image appears upside down.

What to do with the original Thunderball plugin

First of all, make sure you're done with the original plugin (ie you have no gambles for the game that have not been resolved). If you are sure you are done with the game, you can select the game in the main window of LSMC. Then go to the "Game" menu item and select "Remove". This action stops the manager from loading the game.
